Obituary of William L. Case
William “Bill”, age 94, of Madeira, Ohio, passed peacefully on June 15, 2025. A devoted family man, Bill
was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Louise Case (née Zike), with whom he shared 69 years of
marriage.
Bill was the proud and loving father of Marian Beagan (T.J.), William Eric Case (Kelly), Tracy Paluta
(Marek), and Darryl Case (Laurie). He will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren: Jason Case
(Lisa), Dustin Case (Sarah), Matthew Paluta, Lauren Paluta, Chad Case, Erin Voss (Justin), Ashley
Pressley (Brock), and Ryan Beagan; as well as his step-grandchildren Ryan Burke, Brianna Burke, and

admiration.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Harriett Parker and Mary Louise Slagle, his brother Robert Case,
their spouses, as well as his great-grandson, Lincoln Voss.
Born on May 21, 1931, Bill was a man of deep faith, strong values, and an unwavering dedication to his
family and friends. Bill was self-driven and had a dedicated work ethic that few could ever model. He
attended Wilmington College with ideas of becoming an industrial arts teacher with a minor in
mathematics, but fate had a different direction leading him to owning his plumbing business for many
decades, finally being pushed into retirement at the age of 89.
A lifetime resident of Madeira, Bill was a committed servant to his church, community and country. He
served in the U.S. Army Reserves for many years and was active in public service. Bill served on city
council and multiple church committees. He was strongly connected to Habitat for Humanity. Bill
supported other disaster relief efforts around the country as well as other international mission work. He
was a member of both the American Legion and the Scottish Rite which share a focus on service to the
community and nation. Bill also served as president of the Cincinnati Master Plumbers Association,
reflecting a lifelong commitment to his profession.
In his leisure, Bill enjoyed playing various sports especially baseball and golf. Also, a skilled gardener and
man of the earth, Bill found joy in working with his hands and spending time outdoors.
His calm strength, warm sense of humor, and generosity of spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
