Obituary
Obituary of Douglas Desserich
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Douglas Desserich, beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and Navy veteran. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Sherrie, his daughter Dawn (Michael), his son Brian (Amanda), and grandchildren Dylan, Olivia, and Clara.
Doug was a true jack-of-all trades. There was nothing he couldn’t fix and no one he wouldn’t help. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, fishing for the big one, and restoring old cars. Above all else, Doug loved his time on the lake. We know he’s opening a can of Natty out on that great big sandbar in the sky right now.
There will be a visitation held on Saturday, February 1st from 10:00AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11AM at St. Saviour Parish,4136 Myrtle Ave. (45236).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cure Starts Now (https://p2p.thecurestartsnow.org/donate).
