Obituary of Jim McCormick
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of James Lewis McCormick.
Jim was born in Seaman, Ohio on April 7th, 1951 and he passed on January 3rd, 2024 at Hospice of Cincinnati. He is survived by his daughter Julia McCormick, grandsons Brady and Reed McCormick and former spouse, Diane McCormick. He was the son and brother of deceased Harry, Ellyn, Nancy and John McCormick.
Jim was a friend, family member, mentor, teacher and leader to many over his 72 years of life. He served the Catholic Church as a dedicated music and liturgist for 55 plus years. He spent his personal life instilling a positive attitude in everyone he came in contact with. He will be missed dearly.
His celebration mass will be held on February 3rd, 2024, at St Peter in Chains Cathedral in downtown Cincinnati at 9:30am (325 W 8th Street Cincinnati, Ohio 45202) There will be a visitation from 8:30-9:30am.
