Obituary of James "Jim" Whittenbarger

James “Jim” Whittenbarger Jim was born on February 23, 1961, in Cincinnati, OH. He graduated from Sycamore High School and earned a welding engineering degree from The Ohio State University in 1983. Following graduation, he went on to work at Newport News Shipbuilding. He spent his final 21 years working for Ford Motor Company. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with his children, tinkering with anything that had an engine, and spending time at the family farm. He was a great man who led by example, made countless sacrifices for those he loved, and always had a bad joke for anyone that would listen. He is survived by his sister Debi Whittenbarger, his three children, Noah, Keirstan, and Eli and their dog, Penny. He was preceded in death by his parents James N. and Ann (nee Doll) Whittenbarger. =Jim's family will have a visitation on Friday, January 12th from 11AM until the time of the funeral service, 1PM, at Thomas-Justin Memorial, 7500 Montgomery Rd.
