Obituary of Jeanne A. Longeway

Jeanne Anne (nee Covey) Longeway, of Pleasant Ridge, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023, at the age of 78. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents LaVerne and Walter Covey and by her daughter Kellie Meador (Denny). Jeanne is survived by her sons Forrest IV and Greg, their father Forrest III, her grandchildren Forrest V, Garrett (Alyssa) and Sophia Longeway, her dear sister Kathy Sperber (Thomas), her cherished nephews Thomas Sperber, Jr. (Mary) and Michael Sperber (Karen), her dearest friend Nancy Cameron (Mike), Club Friends and many other relatives and friends. She was a graduate of Regina High School and the University of Cincinnati and taught at several schools in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. As a lifelong resident of Pleasant Ridge, she maintained close ties to her treasured friends. She fought a courageous and faith-filled battle against cancer with good humor and dignity. Jeanne will be dearly missed by many. Friends are invited to visit with her family on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 9:30 AM until the time of Memorial Mass, 11:00 AM, at Nativity Church, 5935 Pandora Avenue (45213) Pleasant Ridge. Inurnment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
