Obituary of Marion P. Cobb

Please share a memory of Marion to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marion (nee Petersen) Cobb, beloved wife of the late James R. Cobb, cherished mother, of James Peterson (Eleanor) Cobb, Paul Christian (Susan) Cobb, Marion (Jeffrey) Cobb Molski, John (Bev) Stone and the late Louise Cobb Stone. Marion was a devoted grandmother to Will, Maggie, James, Henry, Ali, Joe, Mari Kate, Drew and Rachel and great-grandmother to Christian, Cooper, Owen, George, and Collin. She was the loving sister of Alice Fell Stringham and the late Jane Nixon, and the daughter of the late Vernon and Marion Petersen. She was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Marion was long-time member of Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church and was an active member of Twin Lakes Retirement Community. She was very involved in her volunteerism, earning her 50-Year Member Award in the P.E.O. Sisterhood, (Philanthropic Education Organization), in 2021. However, above her love of volunteering and helping others, was the love of her family, as they were her first devotion in her life. She dedicated her life to raising her children and enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marion's family will be receiving friends and relatives at her memorial service on Saturday, December 16th at 10AM at Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church, 5125 Drake Rd. (45243) Indian Hill. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that a donation be considered to either P.E.O. International, Armstrong Chapel UMC, The Benevolent Fund at Twin Lakes, or the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society. See ThomasJustinMemorial.com to donate to the above charities, or to share a condolence to the family.
