When I was about three years old and uncle Jimmy was 11 he used to come and visit with us for a week or so. On one of the visits my brother Neal and Jimmy took my teddy bear and as I tried to get it back, they threw it back-and-forth and tore it up. I cried and cried until my mom finally mended it. Jimmy had a good sense of humor and he laughed about it. Every time I saw him the rest of my life or I should say his. Of course I loved him and forgive him. One year about 20 years ago. When I stopped to visit, he gave me a Santa teddy bear and thought it was the funniest thing ever. I will miss him forever. I loved my uncle Jimmy. Judy Gabbard Brunk

Papa as we called him and Mary have been our neighbors for about 47 yrs or more. Best you could ask for and they became ones I woud go to when needed to talk and they listened, gave advice and Papa before got sick was always out in the yard gardening and messing around. I remember one time my garbage can was rattling, I ran next door and got Papa he came right over and it was a racoon and he took care of it. Will be greatly missed by us.

I’ll remember Jimmy sitting in his recliner next to Mary. Whenever Joyce and I would visit that how we found them.
I can’t really remember much from earlier years when I-was a child as Jimmy was usually at work on the railroad.
Love, Susan
