I met Todd roughly 8 or 9 years ago when my spouse and I had taken up a sort of family/couples counseling situation. Todd became so much more than just that to us. Over the last 8 years he was a GOOD man to us and a great friend. One time we had called an ambulance because of his sugar and he called us from the hospital trying to finish our session. He was a hard worker. He gave me so many tools to cope with life’s differences I’ll forever be greatful for. It was Todd wise words that kept me stable when a few months later my spouse passed away. I just wish I could thank him for it. He spoke for years of a book he was writing “The book of love” I only wish I could have read it.

I was so incredibly sad to hear of Todd’s passing. I knew him for over a decade. He was such an amazing and empathetic analyst, never making those he treated feel anything other than normal. He spoke of his family (and especially Austin) quite often. He spoke of his friends, of his students of whom he was so proud. He encouraged me to obtain my PsyD (which i didn’t do... lol), and when i needed to be more active, he volunteered his beloved Charlie to accompany me on walks and even offered to show me great hiking trails in the area. He celebrated my birthdays with me and my friends/family at Tostados. He was a lover of music and the arts and I have him to thank for introducing me to one of his favorites — Joe Bonamassa. Todd helped many of my friends and family members and upon meeting an acquaintance who also knew him, the acquaintance said “Todd saved my life.” Todd saved MANY lives. He was a true model in his profession. It is Todd I have to thank for introducing me (and again, many family and friends) to his friend, Dr. Michael Heile. His struggle with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes was evident from the day you met him, but he never complained. In closing, he was truly an integral part of my life and I will miss him. Thank you, Todd, for everything you did for me and thank you to his family for your sacrifice in sharing him with so many people. <3

I am so unbelievably heartbroken and sad it took me this long to find out this news my condolences go to the family of this great man. My parents must have taken me to over two dozen therapists with no luck.... until I was referred to Todd. Our first session he sat down read my file & said "so your alot like me, to smart for your own good, sarcastic, and an ass, look you don't have to talk I get paid either way, so dealers choice" he was always honest and he changed my life he will be missed RIP

I met Dr. Walker probably about 20 years ago and loved him from Hello. He was such a kind professional and had so much empathy for people and really loved helping them. He was such a Godsend. JoAnn Lawson
