Obituary of Terri Lynn Magliano

Terri Lynn Magliano, age 58, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2020 after a brave, four-year struggle with ovarian cancer. She was born March 2, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Cliff and Diane Thornsburg. She was a 1979 graduate of Madeira High School and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising from The Ohio State University. She married David Magliano on June 14, 1986 in Cincinnati. During the first 20 years of their marriage, Terri and Dave were stationed in various places throughout the United States and lived in Misawa, Japan for four years as Dave completed an Air Force career. She was devoted to their two sons, Peter (30) and Andy (28) whom she took on many “adventures” in the family car at the various places they lived. Terri and Dave moved back to Cincinnati in 2005 and she enjoyed a career working for Clinique. She loved having long conversations about faith and life with her mother and was thrilled to attend Reds games with her father whenever they could. Terri’s friends knew her to be open, honest and fun-loving and a woman of strong and devoted faith in God and Jesus Christ. She is survived by her parents, husband and children as well as her brother, Dave Thornsburg, who lives with his wife, Nina, in Seattle. Terri loved spending time with her brother’s daughters, Kayla and Hanna. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to either the Ovarian Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123, or Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597 Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597. A celebration of Terri’s life will take place at Madeira Silverwood Presbyterian Church, 8000 Miami Avenue (45243) on Thursday, January 30 at 11:00 a.m.
