Obituary of Steve Suddendorf
Stephen James Suddendorf, age 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2019. He fought valiantly after suffering from heart complications.
Dedicated husband of 26 years to Judy Merz Suddendorf. Loving and devoted father to Maxwell (24), Brady (22), and Kathryn (18). Son of Robert Suddendorf, and the late Jacqueline Lower Suddendorf, and loving brother of David Suddendorf (Susan) from San Francisco, California and Cynthia Groves (Rusty), Cincinnati, OH. He also had an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Steve was raised in Cincinnati, and was well known for his creativity and humor. As a professional event planner, his work of producing stunning and breathtaking events was well known and admired by many. Some of his professional clients included AK Steel and the University of Cincinnati. His last job included producing events for professional athletes, including players for the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Boston Celtics. He also loved recreating the school gym for his favorite clients, his children, as he transformed various graduation parties and school events for his favorite three.
Steve was a talented artist and actor. He participated in theater, and his favorite role was Roger De Bris in The Producers.
He was incredibly funny and had a dry sense of humor. He loved to play tricks on people and he will be remembered by many as having the ability to make them laugh. He was dedicated to the church and his faith and he leaves many wonderful friends who admired his spirituality.
His pride and joy were his three children, and he could always talk non-stop about their accomplishments and their wide range of talents. His legacy will be three kind, successful, and beautiful young adults. His last words to them were: I love you. And continue to make me proud.
