We grew up on Lanny Lane and Paula was my very best friend. Patti was in the playpen on the front porch. Mrs. Burland was my Brownie Troop leader and had her home open to my sister my brother and me all the time. Mrs. Burland was always so patient and kind to us. She was like a second Mom. I have the best childhood memories of the family.
Much love to you, Paula and Patti while you are struggling during this difficult time. Your Mom shaped both of you into the beautiful women you are today.
Love,
Suzanne

So sorry for your loss. I was a neighbor at Carrington and she was a good neighbor and a kind and gracious lady. She was friendly and always had time for a chat. I will miss her.

Paula, Rich and Pat -
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I loved Marilyn and it is sad that she is gone. I know that she must be at peace now and reunited with your Dad. We had so many wonderful times shared together and I will never forget those. We hope the good memories you have of your mother bring you comfort during this time.
Love,
Mark and Laura Saddler

Dear Paula and Patty,
I am so shocked and saddened to read of your mother’s passing. I had left a phone message for her on Monday, reminding her of our date on Tuesday. We have been gathering on the third Tuesday for dinner, now lunch, for about 20 years. It was Delores, Marian, Naomi, Deb, myself and Marilyn. Others would join us occasionally, but we were the core, from McAlpin’s better sportswear/designer departments. I met these great ladies in 1992.
Marilyn was classy, funny, and a great friend to many, many people. We would meet and share family stories, photos, ups, downs and highlights of our lives. We have missed her since she stopped being able to attend. We were together on Tuesday, she was very much in our thoughts and concerns, with hopes she would return our calls and be able to join us in April. Please take care.
