Joe was my neighbor a few years ago and a very nice neighbor as well.. I don't know how many times he knocked on my door to tell me I had left my car window down. I never saw him that he didn't have such a pleasant smile and wave.
I am so very sorry to hear he has left us for now. Thoughts and prayers go to all of Joe's family.

I was saddened to learn of the death of your beloved Dad and grandfather. Please be assured that he and all the Meyers Family are remembered in prayer during these difficult days. Your family contributed so much to the sense of family at Mount Notre Dame. Wishing all of you peace. We take faith in the fact that he is now resting, free of pain and illness once again, in the loving embrace of the One who made him!

May the Family find some real comfort with the words of Jesus Christ while he was speaking to you in John 5:28,29 which says:Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs "Or in Gods memory" will hear his "Jesus Christ "voice and come out, to a resurrection to life. And yet there is another promise of Gods found in another Bible verse, that has a direct bearing, on being able to see Joseph " Corky" Meyers in your arms again and it is found in Psalm 37:29 which says: The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. So may these words bring some real comfort in the coming days ahead AMD know that each of you will be able to wrap your arms around him in Gods new world. And so go to JW.org to find out more about what the future will be like under Gods kingdom rule in the hands of Jesus Christ.
